The Anniston community mourns the passing of Destiney M. Bobo, who was lost in a pedestrian crash

 

The Anniston community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Destiney M. Bobo, whose unexpected passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of her family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. At just 40 years old, Destiney’s life was tragically cut short in the early morning hours of Tuesday following a pedestrian crash on Alabama Highway 202. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the incident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m., less than one mile west of Anniston. Authorities reported that Destiney was in the roadway when she was struck by a Ram 1500 pickup truck driven by a 39-year-old Anniston resident. Emergency personnel responded quickly to the scene, but despite every effort, Destiney suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead. News of her passing spread rapidly throughout the community, bringing an overwhelming sense of sadness to those who knew her.
