Clay City and Powell County communities mourn the tragic loss of Deloris Kay Huff, who lost her life after an ATV crash

POWELL COUNTY, KENTUCKY — With heavy hearts, family, friends, and community members are mourning the loss of Deloris Kay Huff, 70, of Clay City, who died following an ATV crash Tuesday on Cat Creek Road.

According to the Kentucky State Police, Deloris was riding an ATV with her three grandchildren on September 8 when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned in a ditch.

Deloris and the three children were taken to a hospital for medical treatment. Deloris was pronounced deceased upon arrival.

The three children remain hospitalized. Authorities said one child is in critical condition, while the other two were expected to be released from the hospital.
