Hattiesburg community is heartbroken by the death of Bryce Walters, who passed after a construction-site accident

 

What began as an ordinary workday at a construction site in Hattiesburg turned into a heartbreaking tragedy with the death of 56-year-old Bryce Walters of Ellisville. Bryce was identified as the worker who suffered fatal injuries while working at the site of an incoming Chipotle restaurant. His sudden passing has left family members, friends, coworkers, and community members struggling to process a loss that came without warning.

According to authorities, the Hattiesburg Police Department responded to the construction site at approximately 10:46 a.m. after receiving a report of a workplace accident. Paramedics were already at the scene when officers arrived, working to provide emergency medical assistance to the injured worker.
