Hopkinsville community mourns the tragic death of 25-year-old Tyquaviues Parrow, who lost his life following a devastating vehicle crash

A quiet Sunday morning in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, turned into a heartbreaking tragedy when emergency crews were called to the area of Eagle Way Bypass and Eagle Cove Drive shortly before 1 a.m. following an automated iPhone Crash Detection alert.

According to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS, the alert prompted 911 to dispatch crews to the area after the phone detected what appeared to be a serious collision. When firefighters arrived, they discovered debris scattered across the roadway, but there was no vehicle immediately visible.

Responders began searching the surrounding area, eventually locating a vehicle that had left the roadway and traveled down an embankment near the river. The vehicle appeared to have flipped multiple times during the crash. The driver and lone occupant, 25-year-old Tyquaviues Parrow of Hopkinsville, was ejected from the vehicle during the collision.

Tyquaviues was later found unresponsive in the water of the river. Despite the response of emergency personnel, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel identified the victim as Tyquaviues Parrow. The Hopkinsville Police Department is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
