The Lake Royale community is mourning the heartbreaking deaths of Kimberly Killworth and her husband, Kevin Killworth, following a tragic incident at their home on Friday, August 7, 2026. What began as a call for service in the quiet Sunlight Cove neighborhood quickly became a devastating scene that left a family grieving and a community struggling to understand what happened.

According to the Lake Royale Company Police Department, officers responded to a residence on Sunlight Cove at approximately 9:30 a.m. after receiving a call involving unknown circumstances. When officers arrived, they discovered two deceased individuals in the front yard. Authorities later identified them as Kimberly Killworth and Kevin Killworth.
