Leonville grieves the loss of Katelyn LeBlanc, who lost her life after a tragic car crash on I-49 St. Landry Parish.

 

The Leonville Elementary School community is grieving the devastating loss of Mrs. Katelyn LeBlanc, a beloved teacher whose life was tragically cut short following a car crash on Interstate 49 near the Sunset/Grand Coteau exit in St. Landry Parish on Sunday. According to family members, Katelyn was airlifted to a nearby hospital after the collision, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Her passing has left an overwhelming sense of sorrow among her family, students, fellow educators, and the entire community that knew and loved her.
