Rock Hill is heartbroken by the loss of Jeremiah Tollive, who passed following a shooting on Springdale Road

The Rock Hill, South Carolina, community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Jeremiah Tolliver, 18, who died after suffering a gunshot wound Thursday night on Springdale Road.

According to the York County Coroner’s Office, authorities were called to the 1100 block of Springdale Road at approximately 10:41 p.m. following reports of gunfire. When officers arrived, they found Jeremiah suffering from a gunshot wound near apartment mailboxes. He was rushed to Piedmont Medical Center, where medical teams worked to treat his injuries, but he later died.
