The communities of Ashland and Rush, Kentucky, are united in grief following the heartbreaking loss of George Timothy Matthew Bundy, 23, of Ashland, and Jonathan Wolfe, 27, of Rush, who tragically lost their lives in a devastating crash on U.S. 60 in Boyd County on Tuesday morning. According to the Boyd County Coroner’s Office, the collision occurred shortly before 10:30 a.m. in the 5600 block of U.S. 60. Authorities reported that the pickup truck, which was hauling lawn-mowing equipment, was traveling toward Ashland when it left the right side of the roadway, crossed a grassy area, became airborne, and crashed into an excavator parked at a nearby equipment-rental business. The impact was catastrophic, and both George and Jonathan were pronounced deceased at the scene. Their sudden and tragic passing has left families, friends, coworkers, and neighbors facing unimaginable heartbreak. At just 23 and 27 years old, the two young men had so much life ahead of them, making their loss even more difficult for everyone who knew and loved them.
