COLTON, CALIFORNIA — With broken hearts, family, friends, and community members are remembering Asandria Jacobo, 38, who died after she was struck by an SUV while riding an e-bike Friday night in Colton.

According to the Colton Police Department, Asandria was riding near the intersection of 12th Street and East F Street, just blocks from Fleming Park, when she was struck by a Volvo SUV.

The collision left Asandria seriously injured. Emergency responders transported her to a local hospital, where she received medical treatment. Despite those efforts, she later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
