
The Columbus community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 19-year-old Aaden Elswick, whose life was tragically cut short following a two-vehicle crash Friday night in west Columbus, Ohio. At only 19 years old, Aaden had so much life ahead of him, making his sudden passing especially devastating for the people who knew and loved him.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers were called shortly before 11:10 p.m. to the intersection of Roberts Road and Potts Place after receiving reports of a serious collision. When officers arrived, they found the aftermath of a crash involving a Honda Civic and a Dodge Durango.
Police said the Honda Civic was traveling westbound on Roberts Road and attempted to turn south onto Potts Place. At the same time, the Dodge Durango was traveling eastbound on Roberts Road. The vehicles collided as the Civic attempted to make the turn.
Aaden was among those involved in the crash and was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital for treatment. Sadly, despite efforts to save his life, he later died from his injuries.
