The Land O’ Lakes community is grieving the loss of Enoch Harville, 61, who died late Thursday night following a deputy-involved shooting during a reported domestic violence incident. The tragedy unfolded in the Causeway Boulevard area, leaving family, friends, and those who knew Harville facing the painful reality of his sudden death. According to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a domestic incident involving a firearm at approximately 11:10 p.m. While officers were at the residence, they made contact with the reported victim while also attempting to communicate with Harville, who was in a back room of the home.

Authorities said Harville armed himself with a firearm while inside the residence. Deputies then exited the back room and repeatedly ordered him to put down the weapon. According to investigators, Harville did not comply and instead approached the deputies while still holding the firearm. The two deputies at the scene fired their weapons, striking Harville. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, and officials have emphasized that no deputies or other civilians were injured during the incident. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is handling the investigation into the deputy-involved shooting, following standard agency protocol.
