The Nampa community mourns the passing of Donovan Novak, whose unexpected death at a Boise construction site has left a deep sadness throughout the community.

BOISE, IDAHO — With heavy hearts, family, friends, and community members are remembering Donovan Novak, 31, of Nampa, whose life came to an unexpected and heartbreaking end far too soon.

Donovan was found deceased earlier this week at a construction site near the 9000 block of South Federal Way in Boise. Authorities responded to the scene and began an investigation. The Ada County Coroner’s Office is working to determine the cause and manner of his death.

At this time, few details have been released, and the investigation remains ongoing. As officials work to learn more, those who knew Donovan are left facing the painful reality of a life suddenly interrupted.

Beyond the investigation and the headlines is the loss of a person who mattered deeply. Donovan was not simply a name connected to a tragic event. He was someone with a place in the lives of others—a loved one, a friend, a familiar face, and a person whose presence created memories that will remain meaningful to those who shared them with him.

Rest peacefully, Donovan Novak. Though you may no longer walk among us, the moments you shared and the memories you created will remain—quietly, tenderly, and forever.

Gone from sight, but never from the hearts that remember you.
