The Proctor community is heartbroken by the death of Wayne P. Swenson, 62, who lost his life in a devastating multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 near the Proctor exit

 

A quiet day in northeastern Minnesota turned heartbreaking when a devastating crash on Interstate 35 near the Proctor exit claimed the life of 62-year-old Wayne P. Swenson.

Swenson was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on the interstate when it became involved in a multi-vehicle collision with a semi-truck and a Lincoln Town Car. According to the crash information provided, both Swenson’s motorcycle and the Town Car struck the rear of the southbound semi-truck.

The impact proved fatal for Swenson. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but there was little they could do to save him. He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
