According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, troopers responded to a serious crash on State Highway 6 at West Lake Creek Road, east of Waco, at approximately 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Investigators said a truck-tractor semi-trailer was traveling south on SH 6 when it collided with a Chevrolet Equinox that had entered the intersection from West Lake Creek Road.
The force of the collision caused the Equinox to overturn. Inside the vehicle was Zoe Henson, a 68-year-old woman from Waco whose life was suddenly and tragically cut short. Despite the efforts of emergency personnel who responded to the scene, Henson was pronounced dead at the location of the crash.
Authorities reported that no other individuals were injured in the collision. Yet for Zoe’s loved ones, the outcome remains devastating. A routine Tuesday morning became a moment of profound heartbreak, leaving behind questions, grief, and memories that her family and friends will carry for years to come.
At 68, Zoe had lived a life filled with experiences, relationships, and countless moments shared with people who mattered to her. Those who loved her are now left to remember the person she was, the memories she created, and the place she held in their lives.
