SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA — With heavy hearts, family, friends, and community members are mourning the loss of Christina Burbano Jeffrey, 50, of Canyon Country, who died following a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon near Rainbow Glen Drive.

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, Christina was identified as the woman killed in the four-car collision on Soledad Canyon Road.

The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station received a call at approximately 12:13 p.m. on September 8, 2026, reporting a multi-vehicle crash with people trapped. Deputies and first responders were dispatched to Soledad Canyon Road near Rainbow Glen Drive.

Investigators said a white Honda CR-V was reportedly traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes before colliding head-on with multiple vehicles. Christina was reportedly in the third vehicle struck.

Authorities have not released information about what caused the driver to enter oncoming traffic. The investigation remains ongoing.

Two other people were transported to the hospital following the collision. Authorities said one person was taken in critical condition, while the other person’s condition has not been released.
